DescriptionJim Lee's Batman is great. But I think his Catwoman is even better. Issue 617 was her spotlight. The book opens with a confrontation with Robin in the Batcave. The latter half contains a tussle with Huntress. The acrobatic technique on display here is pretty kinetic. After flipping through the story recently, I hadn't realized how often he had used this approach in his visual storytelling. Also worth mentioning are Scott Williams inks. They are simply a joy to look at. Social/Sharing |

Niiice pickup Eric. Real nice! I too enjoyed Jim's Catwoman. She was drawn sharp and deadly and it greatly enhanced her suspenseful character-- I kept waiting for the inevitable betrayal, purely based on the drawing. Fooled!

Congrats! A long desired Hush page in the collection! I really love Jim's way of drawing those in-motion images as well. Always great to see!

In comics, hard to top the multiple-figures-to-convey-movement, IMO. Great example here, and love the closeup at the bottom! Congrats!

Absolutely stunning page from Hush! Love how this Jim Lee page is so action-packed! It's really a kick to watch Catwoman and Robin battle it out. I love how every panel has so much happening! And Scott Williams' inks really give extra punch to every punch!
