DescriptionIn college, I helped run Aggiecon, the annual convention at Texas A&M University. The first time I was the con director (1995), John Byrne was the Guest of Honor. This is the artwork he did for the program book and t-shirt. The convention slogan was "Reality's not what it used to be," from the movie, In the Mouth of Madness. So here we have a kid with the virtual reality goggles and gloves on, imagining himself to be Superman-like (avoiding copyright issues), fighting the good fight. Appologies for the scan and crappy cut & past job; artwork is crystal clear.Social/Sharing |

Wow! I've never seen that piece before. I'm a huge Byrne fan and I love seeing "rarely seen" stuff like this. Thanks for sharing.
