Description

This self-contained New Yorker gag prelim is just wonderful. The dog is the character that really drew me in, but the whole thing is terrific. Booth used this setting a number of times for cartoons and covers, but the finished version of this cartoon appeared in the September 8, 1986 copy of the New Yorker.
