This is what happens when the X-Men finally crawl out of that hole. Took so long, (9 years) you wouldn't know there was mountain on top of them.
fantaastic addition, I think this is one of the better covers of the later run Classic X-men/X-Men Classic had such a top notch list of artists on the covers this is one of the lesser known gems for sure
This is peak period for Jae, IMO. Still has the more dialed in look of Inhumans. Nice cover!
Classic is right!
Jae 90s goodness, on a cover no less! Didn't know he did this.
Fantastic page! All in negative!
One of the finest examples of Jae's work that I've seen. Can't take my eyes off Storm in this one.
If there's a better Jae Lee example I certainly haven't seen it. Congrats!
Gotta love an all-out mutant battle royale. Jae Lee did a beautiful job with this one.
X-Men were superhot having reprints already of a book not even 10 years old. This cover stands on it's own with Jae Lee's hot style reimagining it for a full on battle cover and adding the all important sex appeal with Storm.
That is a killer piece!
Great cover, Duke. Classic!
Killer mid 90's Jae Lee example from this title! Oh, and The Blob IS a big name villain. If you know who the X-Men are, the chances are very good that you will know who The Blob is, and he's always been AWESOME!
Love 90s Jae Lee art, this is incredible, congrats man!
Having revealed your love of The Blob, you can now change your caf name to Mr Blobby Lover.
This is so good! Congrats! Beautiful cover!
BEAUTIFUL! Congrats!
This cover is so nineties, I love it! Heluva an add, Dan, one of his nicest covers from his run of Classic X-Men.
What an awesome pickup, man! Great era for Jae's art...congrats!
Just amazing!
Was jealous of this one! But glad to help. Great fit for your gallery!
Incredible pick up D. You know I love the baddies...and this one has some classics. Xcellent #freedomforce
Such a great cover and end to a fun series that reprinted lots of great issues but also had some of it's own original material. Congrats!
I didn't know about this cover, but a very nice one by Jae Lee! You can clearly see here the transition from his early style like on X-Factor to his work on Inhumans and Sentry!
I think that Classic X-men is one of those series whose covers offer the best artistic talents of their time and you got a striking Jae Lee one.
Wondered where this awesome piece ended up! It was so much fun to see iconic X-Men stories reinterpreted on the covers of Classic X-Men; and while the earlier issues tend to get the most attention, this is one of the best I've seen from late in the run. Jae Lee's Storm looks kick-ass! And love the crammed-in composition of the piece. Congrats!
Just love Jae Lee's artistic style, and this piece is a real gem. Major congrats!
This is rad, man, as you can see Jae's moving toward the style he has now. All here in this cover, but still with that '90s house aesthetic mixed in. Love that combo. And particularly Storm here :) Congrats!
In the words of X-cartoon Gambit, "Life don' get much better than dis..."
Jam packed with cool!
Awesome cover!
This is a CLASSIC cover indeed! Many congrats!
It was rare for me to stay with a series after Byrne stopped drawing it, but Jae Lee on Namor was that good, as yer cover shows, congrats!!
Great reinterpretation of this classic battle!
This title had so many great covers - congrats on grabbing this Lee example!
It was not obvious to walk in the footsteps of Art Adams, Steve Lightle or Adam Hughes as a cover artist to the series, but Jae was up to the challenge, great piece !
