Description
I am a die-hard fan of the Amazing Spider-man.

I have been since I was a little kid. Over my life I've collected every ASM issue including AF15.

Included in my ASM obsession is a lot of original art from the comic. I've just never been able to get my hands on a page by Ron Frenz. Let's face it, Ron is one of the quintessential artists from the 200's that helped shape some of the modern obsession the world has with Spidey.

Comic Art Live, fall 2022 -- Derrick Cantrell posted up this beauty from his collection and it called out to me. After some discussion I was able to finesse this lovely page into my collection.

It's not a battle scene.
It's not Spidey in (full) costume.
It's supporting characters that complete the Spider-man world.

J.J. Jameson getting married to Marla surrounded by his son John, Glory Grant, Robbie Robertson, Betty Brant with Peter off on the right sporting the classic split-Spider-man depiction. Additionally we get cameos by Stan Lee and Danny Fingeroth over JJ's right shoulder.

If you look, you can see a smile on Jonah's face.

Classic Spider-man that I grew up with. Impeccably illustrated by Ron & Bob.

11"x17", Slight toning, 100% Amazing!

Sequential art at its finest. It's a technicality, but the artist does actually show Spidey in costume. No one but the reader can see it of course, but its a constant reminder of the connection between Peter, Spidey and JJJ.

Wonderfully framed wedding picture with the best supporting cast in all of comics and the secret to what made Spider-Man Marvel's flagship character.  Every one of their triumphs and tragedies became meaningful to us like this.

Wow! Very memorable moment in Spidey history! Terrific splash page by Ron Frenz and Bob Layton. Love the split Spidey/Peter Parker image standing off to the side watching. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!

Key moment from a book we all remember, with lots of the Spidey cast featured.  Oozes nostalgia.  From one Frenz ASM super fan to another, congrats, man!

So good! I love seeing pages and splashes like this with important moments that are not battle/fight related, especially in Spidey books. Congrats!
