DescriptionI always thought Carl Creel was a fascinating villian ever since his debut in Journey into Mystery. Love his inclusion throughout different comic titles overtime. Finally glad to find a splash of him to add to the rogue gallery. From Joe Fixit issue 3 page 2 Social/Sharing |

I always thought he was a fascinating villain too; very often badly written. Logically he should wipe the floor with about 90 percent of the Marvel heroes if written right. Lovely splash.

Agreed! Did you read the arc with Red Onslaught where he had Adamantium sentinels? Absorbing man absorbed the Adamantium and wrecked shop

I have not read that one. Will search it out. Thanks for the heads up.

He was deemed a omega level threat in Mighty Avengers 32.

One of my very first introductions to Silver Age Marvel stories was through my purchase of the Bring On the Bad Guys book, published by Fireside. The Absorbing Man story was one of my absolute favourites and have loved Crusher Creel ever since. This is a fantastic image of him and you'd be hard pressed to find a larger one, that's for sure. Congrats, John!

Cinar brings the best of classic and modern with that bold presentation! Clean like Zeck and Byrne to know when to prevent overrendering.

Fantastic menacing Carl Creel piece, I also really liked that he would appear in any random series. Great looking splash.

Crusher Creel! Always loved that name :) First saw this dude in Secret Wars and since thought his power set was so cool, but in terms of how to use in first, and just straight visually. Nice Cinar rendering, no doubt. Congrats!

One of my all time favorite Marvel villains. Loved his epic battles with both Thor and Hulk. This is an awesome splash!
