DescriptionIn 2019, John Byrne had a Marvel story he wanted to tell, mostly X-Men, but drawing in a wide range of other characters as well. Rather than subject himself to the Marvel editorial process, he chose to release it as fan fiction, posting about one page of pencils a day on his own forum. The story picks up where he left X-Men, shortly after the (first) death of Phoenix. Kitty Pryde is still a thirteen year old calling herself "Sprite" and is neither a ninja nor a genius. The first group of issues pits the X-Men against M.O.D.O.K. in the Savage Land. Issue #1 (not that the designation has great import, given the manner in which the story was released) had one DPS, which I asked Joseph Rubinstein to print and then ink. Here it is! Enjoy. M.O.D.O.K. should be glad that getting phased into the wall only immobilizes him. Social/Sharing |
