Mostly 8.5x11" three hole punched paper sheets w/copy of art for a variety of Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe issues (Marvel, 1980s) featuring groups of Heroes and Villains from Marvel Comics by various artists that are hand-colored as color guides for the published issue. Original wraparound cover is one stat spread and hand colored w/mylar overlay for Deluxe issue featuring "B-C" characters. Some paste-up corrections. 270 individual sheets, with many duplicates and alternate pages. Pages included from both regular and deluxe versions. Classic Marvel character style guide-biography series by Mark Gruenwald with art by Ron Wilson, Dave Cockrum, John Byrne, Mike Zech, Keith Pollard, Ed Hannigan, Bob Layton and more. Characters include Hellfire Club, Starjammers, Fantastic Four, X-Men and much more. Color artist was Andy Yanchus. Pages have color break notations in pen. Color guides are original to 1980s comic issues. Overall displays VF. Large, extensive lot. From The Archives of Colorist Andy Yanchus.
