"Los Luchadores Del Espacio," or The Space Fighters, was a long-running series of paperback sci-fi novellas published in Spain by Editorial Valenciana every 15 days during 1953-1963. A total of 234 novels were published, this lot features mixed media original art for the cover to No. 230 (making this among the last issues published for this title), published in 1963. Thin artboard measures 6-7/8x9" and depicts large dinosaur-like creature attacking spacemen of surface of alien planet. Title is hand-painted/lettered and has been neatly clipped and glued to art as designed at center right w/series title is pasted stat at lower left. Lower right has been signed by artist. Exc. Comes w/reading copy of the novella this cover art was created for.
