DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!Tom Terrific was an animated segment from the beloved Captain Kangaroo program, featuring Tom, who was in possession of a magic funnel hat that gave him the power of transformation. These cartoons - directed by Gene Deitch - were known for their minimalist design, featuring thick inked lines often w/o color or bkg. designs. Offered here is a 10x12" acetate sheet w/hand-inked original production cel w/image area measuring 2.5x3", showing majority of Tom, missing just the tips of his feet. Cel has "143" number inked at top right which matches 10.5x12.5" sheet of animation paper w/pencil original art bearing same image of Tom. Sheet is evenly aged and shows lt. edge wear, but both original art areas remain distinct and Exc. Social/Sharing |
