DescriptionA knew layer of the OA addiction seems to be taking root … I keep running into pieces of comic art that are adaptions of stories or shows I like from other types of media and picking them up lol. Not the worst thing since they seem to be much cheaper then X-men art lol.Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles were fun novels I read in my teens after liking the Brad Pitt movie that this page represents , Interview with the Vampire , so even though I never read the innovation comics that adapted them in the early 90s this page really hit the right nostalgia zones lol. The page it self is fun because it is the part of the story when Louis is telling his young interviewer that the myths about vampires are mostly BS … establishing Rice’s lore for the future of the long running series of stories.. Jordan may say the birth of the Rice Vampire Lore! I just say a fun fully painted page representing a found book I really enjoyed! Fun fact I rescued this from a former comic dealers closet where it sat for the last 30 years! Social/Sharing |

I have fond memories of the Innovation Anne Rice comic adaptations. This is great!

Then out of curiosity, boredom, who knows what, I left the old world and came back to my Vampire. And here, this Joe Phillips wonder allowed me to see the art rise for the first time in two hundred years. And what sunrises, seen as the human eye could never see them: green at first, then, as the years progressed, in tones of orange, brown, and my long lost hues.

Breathing after 30 years! Cool to see this color comic OA while also visualizing the Cruise/Pitt flick. Congrats!
