DescriptionDark Horse Comics' King Conan the Conqueror #4 cover by Tomas Giorello. Tomas' tenure on the Conan books for Dark Horse were a high water mark for the Conan comic books for the last four decades, in my opinion. I've been a lifelong fan of the Conan stories and, yes, Barry Smith established an almost impossible standard to achieve, and I have enjoyed many of the artists' work over the years, but none as much as Giorello's. I also feel that his art is widely under rated by the general community. But, I think if you take the opportunity to go back and check out these books, you will not be disappointed.Social/Sharing |

COMPLETELY agree with you about Giorello. He really captures how I picture Conan to be. And he's definitely underrated as an artist.
Congrats on an awesome cover! :)
