DescriptionCaptain America confronts a gang of thugs in a 1970s era arcade with Pinball machines. Brings back fond memories hanging out with friends in mall arcades playing video games and pinballs. With pockets full of quarters, my friends and I would play for hours…my favorites were GALAGA, TRON and DRAGONS LAIR. Problem was every quarter spent in the arcade meant one less comic from my comics shop!Check out the variety of weapons shown including a Tommy Gun, battle axe, baseball bat, chains, pistol and a lead pipe. Surely, Cap wins the day right? From an original owner collector, held privately for over 40 years. Social/Sharing |

Bad Dudes, Double Dragon, Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat...like you say...those quarters meant less comics 🤣. My kids will never experience that kind of special childhood 🥹. Oh yeah and great cover too Dino!

Gorgeous pickup Dino!!! Although you're supposed to leave the Captain America covers to me!!! Such a fun cover! You know that Cap will end up prevailing no matter how many guys surround him with whichever weapons they are holding!! Congrats!!!!

Amazing cover! The guy with the Tommy Gun will take care of half the others for Cap. Private collection finds are the best finds!

Outstanding Captain America cover by Bob Budiansky and Bob Wiacek! Fun scene of a rumble in a pinball arcade! Not entirely sure why these thugs have brought chains and bats and axes and lead pipes to a pinball arcade, but you can see that Cap's a bit of trouble. Love all the detail Buiansky included. I love seeing an action scene set in a pinball arcade! Like you, I remember all the fun I used to have in arcades, only for me it was video games like Zaxxon and Burger Time! Great pick-up!
