DescriptionMilitarismo - Alberto Breccia - Oil painting35 x 31 cm oil on board As in the book Perramus, General Videla and other dictators are portrayed as murderous hostages who ruled the countries of the South American continent in the 1970s and 1980s with their military might and cruelty. This painting was part of the 1992 "lmaginaires" exhibition in Montreuil. The exhibition took place in Montreuil during the 8th Salon du Livre de Jeunesse de Seine Saint-Denis in December 1992. The painting has been published in the Catalog Imaginaires ISBN 2-908368-12-9. Someone told me, that this painting was a book plate in a special edition of Perramus. I can't confirm this, as I've never seen this edition. Social/Sharing |
