Fantastic Four #318 pg 27 Human Torch Pollard/Sinnott

The Human Torch was my favorite character as a kid. As I reached and then surpassed Johnny's age, he's been passed up by a number of characters on my favorite list, but he'll always remain near the top.

I couldn't pass up this Pollard/Sinnott piece when it came up in my CAF email alert as available. Overall a nice action page with some quality cosmic background as the FF were forced into the Negative Zone by Dr. Doom in this issue. "White hot" Torch and a bit of the classic Flamed On Johnny. Very cool that Sinnott can give such a tangible connective tissue between so many FF artists over the years - for Torch and the other FF members.
Bonus Blastaar and super craggy Thing in the final panel. Oh, and She-Thing (if you squint), one character definitely on the opposite end of my favorite character list.
