It's Spider-Man Day, apparently.

I had been admiring the vibrant colors and bold lines of Next Comic Art's JP Cuison. Representative Cruz has once again found a unique voice and talent in this young man, and when the opportunity arose I requested a sequential story, if he was up for it.

It seems the like the Gigzilla from Manila was indeed up to the task, and I received this wonderfully executed gag at SDCC. It's amazing what he was able to fit onto a 9x12! The little panel breaks are fantastic and the colors are worthy of Pee Wee's Playhouse. ACHECHE!

Every time I think about it, I wanna buy
With Doc in the Marvel, tentacles keep writhing
Duck face not breathe easy, web lines to be spun

Jiggy and all of his Next artists are incredibly talented, bright, and colorful ambassadors to comics. And this is another prime example.

Really fun! And really, why did it take Spidey so long to use his webs on his foes in this way?! It totally jibes with his personality. Haha!
