Description

My commission request for Brendon and Brian:

I'd like to commission you for an 11x17 black and white logo pin-up of Katy Keene and Randy Van Ronson attending one of her movie premieres, very similar to the cover of the attached Katy Keene Movie Premiere paper doll book, but with some significant differences.

Instead of the guy on the book cover (Errol Swoon) I want Randy Van Ronson escorting Katy. Please see attached for references for Randy.

I'd like the logo lettering to be the same as the name Katy Keene on the attached issue 47 skating cover of Katy's vintage comic book. That logo style was only used about 4 times, but I think it would frame the picture nicely (I like the more frequently used blockier logo better in general, see the Christmas cover issue attached, but I don't think it would work as well here as the less bulky logo).

I like everything about Katy on the movie premiere cover -- the 1950s hairstyle, and the gown.

Randy could wear the black tux Errol Swoon is wearing (although tailored to his trimmer frame).

I like all the elements of the background behind the red carpet action -- the spotlights breaking the starry night sky, the Hollywood sign, the limo behind the two characters.

Looks as grand as the movie poster of the movie they are there for! It makes a case for old school studio glamor with flawless fashion in the spotlight!
