Description

Superman art purchased during the Adams' weekly auction. Neal was never quite done with this one he tweaked it a few times adding in more paint and detail like the birds, added paint work to the face, and enhanced the highlights from the sun. Pencil, ink and color all Neal Adams.

Very handsome Superman! Adams was chasing after perfection with his tweaks, but maybe this piece was to demonstrate that it would be good to never give up on reaching and trying for the best.
