I remember reading the epic Sun Eater story as a kid in Adventure Comics and I was genuinely shocked that Ferro Lad died. It made the Legion feel more real and add dramatic tension to future Legion stories. I have been doing Infinite Timelines commissions for over a decade and there has been a high mortality count. I wanted to catch that moment of overwhelming reality. Sun Boy is a symbol of life, a character often depicted as humorous so he and GiGi were the perfect characters to comprehend and relay, the toll that Infinite Timelines is taking on the Legion.
