Peter and Kitty watch as Professor Xavier flies away from Earth in a Skrull spaceship after the death of Scott Summers. Peter calls her "Shadowcat," and she gives her age as 16.

Notwithstanding that detail in this story by Alan Davis, Chris Claremont's 2002 story Mekanix will show her attending grad school while working as a bartender. Love that fluid continuity!

Not to mention that Kitty is depicted as only a few inches shorter than Peter, though the previous page has her a head shorter, which still isn't enough. Details...

Still, it's a nice looking spaceship. The profile faces of Peter and Xavier are easier to draw than the 3/4 turned faces of the Skrulls.
