Azrael by Barry Kitson.

Amazing pin up of Azrael by Barry Kitson. Great use of color as Azrael pps against the black and white background. Always great when an artist revisits a character from early in his career. Barry was the regular penciler for the monthly Azrael series and did a fantastic job taking over for Joe Quesada.

Pick this one up from Anthony Snyder on a Duling Dealers episode.

The pencils for this piece can be seen here in Christopher Daley's Gallery. For those that are unaware and wondering why there is a separate pencil piece, Barry will do the pencils on one board and then blue line them onto another board for the finished piece. I saw the pencils when they went up for sale but didn't feel the need to reunite them.

Righteously designed pin up piece! Almost like a coat of arms with Azrael dominating front and center with colors that highlights the piece in flames!

Killer layout, and having only Azrael colored is the right choice. Adds to the contrast and graphic sense. Congrats!
