Very clean illustration. McCarthy's design sense tells you what you need to know about this version of Spider-Man as a nomad in this brutal bug infested world fueled by his feverish imagination. The thick and dense clothing protects him from bug bites and there are no tall buildings for him to swing away, so he relies on being a barbarian of sorts to fight off all comers.
