DescriptionThe New 52 Batman Court of Owls arc by Snyder/Capullo drew me back into reading comics after a long hiatus. A new villian worthy of joining the classic Bat rogue gallery.One of my favorite parts was when Batman enters the Court's Labyrinth and encounters the huge Owl fountain and maze. Readers had to read the issue upside down. One of the rare moments where Bruce is broken mentally. Fast forward many years later as Batman Beyond first encounters the Court. Love the layout featuring the massive owl, and the simple yet sinister Owl masks outlining both sides. Traditional pencils and inks on same board for Batman Neogothic issue 3 Social/Sharing |

Have you watched the extras on the Batman vs Robin movie? Where they interview Scott and Greg on designing the Court and Talon.

Beautiful DPS here, man! Love that the artist let the envormenment room to breathe and convey its scope...my favorite type of image!
