Description

Paul Rivoche is a longtime comic book artist, illustrator and animator. Rivoche has worked for both Marvel and DC, in addition to his multiple graphic novels. In the field of animation, Richove has done storyboards and backgrounds for Warner Brothers, Netflix and Cartoon Network. I’m pleased to offer a set of five background drawings (with a sixth penciled in) done for Samurai Jack, when Rivoche was working for BG Designs/Cartoon Network. Each of these drawings is incredible in its own right, with a definite vibe of 1970s Jack Kirby to them. I mean, check out those wonderful textures, thick and thin lines, and high-contrast backgrounds. Not to mention the changing viewpoints and perspective in each piece. These are done on two sheets of 8½”x 11” paper. While each “panel” is relatively small, they pack a big punch. Each sheet is signed by Rivoche in read. Really wonderful stuff. And at 30 bucks per “panel”, they’re a bargain. $150.00 + 9.00 Priority Mail shipping.
