DescriptionSo I just got back from NYCC(I could only do the first 2 days) and it was pretty nuts. I ended up with some amazing pieces but had a major setback being that I forgot my sketch covers at home.Thankfully on day 2 a very kind fellow fan gifted me a blank for Transformers #1, I wasn't able to get DWJ to draw on it but I know that Dustin Nguyen is a massive Transformers fan and I knew he'd do an amazing Shockwave who is by far my favorite Decepticon. He did this quickly enough to finish it before I had to leave the con, and I am very very pleased. He told me his son also loves Shockwave so I know there was passion put into it. This will go great on my villains wall. Social/Sharing |

That's a major Nguyen! The red flowing down like blood shows how cold and savage Shockwave is!

very great piece, gotta love Shockwave. Transformers #4 cover holds a big place in my initial comic impressions.

Are you referring to the infamous "Are All Dead" Cover? Thats one of the more classic snd iconic images from TF media, even before they become staples of 80s nostalgia culture

Yep #5 actually. Reach me to go on 40 year old memories. I recently read an anecdote by the editor of that that he had to fight Hasbro on using that cover at all. By the great Mark Bright I believe.
