DescriptionI gotta give a big thank you to Eranga for picking up the pencils for this page at NYCC last year! The inks were done digitally so I asked the inker to do a recreation. I'm not big on recreations but I wanted to be able to display the pencils and inks together. This is a special one for me and great moment in Miles' history.As far as I know this suit only appeared in this issue but it was exciting to see the suit also appear in the Spider-Man 2 video game from Insomniac games: And the dialog on the page is a call back to Taino's Yo Soy Boricua, Pa' Que Tu Lo Sepas (translates to " "I am Puerto Rican, just so you know"): Social/Sharing |

The combination of the suit and the flags below in the parade is great! Coupled with all of the spectators, this splash has a high flying, grand feel to it. Love the webbing, and the pose is completely original! Think that is tough to do these days.

Getting the physical inks makes total sense, man, and they came out great. Deft touch by Jose, no doubt! And you know we likes our additional images, George - appreciate those adds :) Congrats!

Represent! It celebrates Miles' heritage and shows that the ideals of Spider-Man are universally shared amongst all the peoples of the world.

Wow! Fabulous scene of Miles Morales swinging above the crowd in his Boricua Suit! Alitha Martinez did a marvelous job of penciling Miles--He looks free and flying high in the pencils! And I have to say that Jose Marzan Jr. really took the art to another level with his fantastic inks! He really put this one out of the park! So much detail and so well inked! This is one you can be proud of! Congrats!
