Very interesting Virgil Finlay science-fiction color prelim. It looks familiar, but I have been unable to identify its usage. It looks like a proposed digest or paperback cover so if anyone recognizes it please comment below, and thanks as always! Signed "Virgil" lower right.

So great with the cross section cutaway to show us that this battery crew is defeated by the oncoming fleet. It also shows the submarine like feel with where they are capsized and dead in space.
