DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!Large and impressive 20x30" Bainbridge board has oil painting original art by noted fantasy and comic book artist Dorian Cleavenger. Art has inked title on back "Joan of Arc" and features image of a post battle Joan exhausted in plate armor w/sword holding a cross. Beautiful use of light and shadow in this piece. Cleavenger has signed and added "2001" date at lower right. Exc. This piece is one of his more fleshed out, cover quality paintings. Art was included in the book "The New Works & Visions of Dorian Cleavenger" and listed as "For Love Of". Model for this painting was Alexandra Tydings. Social/Sharing |
