14x18.25" artboard was taped to Crescent illustration board and features mixed media original art in image area measuring 11x14.74". Art depicts the blood-spattered hockey mask of '80s slasher Jason Voorhees and was used for promotional die-cut cardboard mask issued by video stores for the VHS release of the 1988 slasher movie Friday The 13th Part VIII: The New Blood, the seventh installment in the Friday The 13th franchise. For the final product, art was scaled down to half-size and art was flipped on its vertical axis. Additionally, the masks featured "Friday The 13th Part VII - The New Blood" title logo across forehead area. Artist is unknown. Back of artboard has rough surface w/inked job number and "Mask" notation. Strip of white tap at top right and lower left (no longer attached to Crescent board). Some scattered edge wear/aging, but art remains clean and Exc. A must-have for horror fans.
