Champions 10 p 17 - Hall and Giacoia

I largely missed out on Champions when it was released - I was five. Like a lot of short lived series from that time, though, it held a mysterious place in my comic collecting mind. Twenty years after the series ended, I had just moved to San Francisco and bought an almost complete run from Comic Experience. It was a super fun read, even though the book was - as you can image - a bit strained in the storytelling department.

I had always loved Hercules and Black Widow. And, thanks to the similarly named Contest of Champions, was a huge Darkstar fan. I've passed on a handful of Champions pages over the last few years. But, you can imagine how excited I was to see a page with Natasha and Laynia featured so prominently.
