DescriptionI have a fondness for the Will Payton Starman that is hard to explain. I've gotten a small number of pages with him and couldn't pass up on adding to the list with this great early Bart Sears page. Never easy to take over for McFarlane, especially when you're new to DC and not a big fan of group books. But Bart did a great job stepping in and trying to wrestle this 4th company wide crossover to completion.No matter their deficiencies, I was a big fan of DC's crossovers in the 80s. I've excited to have a piece from this one. Several inkers are listed as having worked on the issue - understandable given the clear scramble once Todd took off for Marvel. Not sure who inked this page but Rubenstein, Giordano, Christopher, and Marcos are all listed on the issue. Bought this from eBay in late 2023 Social/Sharing |
