Seeing Petty art here in CAF always makes me sigh at how far from the branches of the tree the genre of good girl art or pinup art has fallen.

Petty girls had class, charm, joy, exuberance. and any of a number of other qualities as their most prominently fetching aspects.

Today's so-called pin-ups that I see in here are mostly vulgar, adolescent, and demeaning to women.

Scott, your collection is delightful, and I marvel as I ogle these beautiful works, "how does he do it?" (You may take that as a rhetorical question, if you like.)
