9" x 12" Illustration board. Circa 2021.

I got this commission from Mike a few years ago. We use to work together at Midtown comics (over a decade ago now!) but we've stayed in touch over the years. He works mostly digitally now and I saw a digital version of this I wanted him to bring to life on an art board. He has a really distinct style and knew I wanted one of his women illustrations. It's sexy and not overt. Pencils and inks, with whiteout as effects and he used real halftones cut and adhered to the board to achieve a similar look as the other one. Super happy with how it came out!

Pretty use of the tones. Where he cuts off the drawing in the bottom is quite unique.

Sensual illustration poured over board and smoothed over with peacock feathers. She is a lovely woman, and she belongs, if only briefly, to the collector who owns the art now. Personal and fabulous.
