These are terrific. PC Russell can draw the heck out of the greenery and is perfect for this Poison Ivy story. Every leaf gets some attention and every panel adds to the mood of the story. Russell draws the woman like a photo in the last panel.

Thank you for your appreciation. I am very fortunate to have these pages from one of my artistic heroes. Anyone who has tried to draw horticulture will know how difficult it is to get it just right. Your observation about the photographic depiction of Ivy in the last panel is especially astute as I think it might have been used as a stat representing a photo in the second chapter of the story which was in the previous issue.

I don't think that's Ivy. She's the go between. Your other page has her deep within the flora.

Well, they do say that people have difficulty differentiating the faces of people who come from different ethnic groups so you could be right. But isn’t the obvious explanantion that you and I have both seen the same image but although you have seen what is truly there I have found that 31 years has taken its toll on my ability to resist Pamela’s not inconsiderable charms and I am simply seeing Ivy’s face superimposed on every female I view. Sigh.
