Description
Shades of the old Jack Benny routine, comes this sweet 1922 Jerry on the Job daily strip. There is something about the way Hoban drew figures that I really dig, from the hunched over henchman in the first panel, to the shaking, sweaty Jerry throughout. Such wonderful stuff.

I like cartooning of the light switch handle on top of Mr. Givney's head and the classic last panel of Jerry on the ground feeling totally defeated.
