This painting is very near and dear to my heart. Dad and I started this together about two weeks before he passed. He laid out the pencil for me from a sketch he had done a few months prior. I had started painting while at his apartment and, having finished the mouthI showed Dad my progress. He was so pleased with it! Unfortunately he never got to see it finished, but I like to think he would be proud of it. If you like the frame in the photo, I'm happy to include it. He can be a bit extra at times. He's been known to knock other paintings off the wall if placed next to him. Yes, really.
