DescriptionMr. John Byrne delivers one of the greatest treats a fanboy could have wished for. As a kid, I dreamed of owning a piece by John. And to be able to have him do a 1-minute later and to do it so fantastically ...well words are not enough. My great thanks to Mr. Byrne and Jim Warden for making this happen...This is one of my favorite books and John captured the scene magnificently. I love the way Union Jack looks shaken as he figures out what Captain America is going to do. Social/Sharing |

Lovin this piece. Good to see Byrne hasn't lost his touch. I like the way Union jack looks shocked as well as the obvious internal struggle Cap seems to be goin through himself. However, I do notice if it's only a minute later, Union jack should still look a bit withered...I have to go back and read the comic again because I'm probably missing sumthing. Either way, CHEERS to you for getting a Byrne original !!

The only thing that could be better is if Byrne drew you another pice called "2 Minutes later". Great commission. Cheers! N.

Even now, Byrne's mastery of the pencil is so very evident, the figure work is so organic and natural, the perspective is spot on, and the backgrounds defining but not overwhelming. This is a great piece you have here, which in some ways is more compelling than the original cover. Congratulations on a sweet acquisition!
