Marvel Premiere #15 pages 7-8 First Appearance IRON FIST

This flashback sequence features the splash page of Wendell Rand (Danny's father) falling to his death, and the following story page shows a crying Danny Rand and his mother Heather Rand, and the taunting murderer as well. This is a key scene from the origin of Iron Fist! It was created during the very brief period where a managerial edict from Marvel instructed artists to create two pages sideways on a single Bristol board per issue. (For which, they were only paid the single page rate.) This proved to be understandably unpopular with the artists and was quickly abandoned.
