DescriptionI have always loved Ghost Rider 2099's character design. I know it was a bit of a rip on the Terminator, but it had a flaming skull and a plasma chainsaw! For a 2099 title, the run's first half was actually really good! It couldn't maintain the same momentum through issue #25 (still loved the art), but it's nostalgia for me!Bachalo co-created the character but only worked on the first three issues before moving over to Generation X. He also only had three covers - #1, #2, and #8. This #8 cover was his initial character design of Ghost Rider before the start of the series and was later used as a cover. It's hard to find Bachalo art from the series, and to have a cover is crazy! Thanks Ivan! Social/Sharing |

These are hard to find. But not as hard to find as the Hitch/Farmer Death's Head #6 cover in your gallery.

Lol, that recently went to a true Death's Head collector's home. Have to earn those art karma points when you can!

Nice looking Bachalo and fun early history piece. Congrats! The details and character design are great, especially the arms and head.

Wow, I sometimes forget abpout this era when Bachalo was in his "Sienkiewicz school" phase, but it's SO killer! Not only do these not turn up very often, but you got a top flight example to boot!

SO good, James. That's the image I think of when I think of the series. So many different artistic elements, too, Bachalo used to get the desired effect. And yes...plasma chainsaw?! Come on!! Congrats, man!

Killer Ghost Rider 2099 cover! Chris Bachalo's art here is jaw-droppoingly good. Love the crazy biomechancial arms he's sporting here. Awesome pick-up!

Gorgeous cover! Bachalo has a long and varied career but his work on these three issues has always stood out to me as some of the most interesting and experimental. Great score!

Congrats on owning this cover - it's got intense energy, a real specimen of Bachalo's most expressive style of work. Even as a character design, he masterfully balances the white space and, of course, puts LOADS of texture into it. This is one of my favorite examples of his work I've seen.
