Description

From a story written by Alan Moore. Moments before the heat death of the universe, Majestic and his travelling companions (the last vampire, Eucrastia, and an intelligent strain of syphilis called the Simberleen) encounter a vast cobweb of gold filaments which devour their craft. The filaments turn out to be the golden symbiotes from Wetworks, guided by the intelligence of Spartan from WildC.A.T.s. Spartan uses a thermodynamic property of conductors to become the next universe's driving intelligence - along with the others.

Only Alan Moore could come up with this kind of stuff.
