I don�t read current comics much at all any more � but my buddy Dan T has a way of finding original art from current stuff that gets me excited and that was the case with this page! We were walking around NYCC and he implored to come take a look at this new artist he follows� Jonas Scharf � now I�m sure you are like me and you will humor your friends even when you are pretty sure you won�t be interested� but wow was I wrong! First of all Jonas is all traditional art. Penciling and inking his work � and also he does a masterful job with the ink washes as well� giving his original art a very finished look. Now Dan knows the art alone won�t get me on modern � subject has to tug at the heart strings.. and this page was a home run! Goblin Queen in all her traditional glory! Maddy all over the page! Perfection! (I even went out and bought the floppies! )

WOW!!! Way to go Dan T for getting Jason to get some modern art. This piece is fantastic and great to see that getting the art first then buying the comics. That's a wonderful reversal! Gorgeous art, I collected the series but have read yet. This page has me very interested in the subject matters of what we are dealing with, very X-citing!!
