Description

A great example of Mignola's trademark dark, noir art style fronts this X-Men cover featuring Professor X and Magneto. The comic legend shows his artistic prowess by creating a powerful composition, framing the characters through his use of light and shadow, to highlight the menace emanating from this dramatic cover as the powerful duo (with Xavier carrying a catatonic Gabrielle Haller) face the threat of Hydra leader Baron Strucker. The book reprints the story "Gold Rush", originally printed in Uncanny X-Men #161.
