DescriptionSECRET ORIGINS #19 (Page 3) by MURPHY ANDERSON (DC, 1987)A Hero's journey begins when a Patriot named Samuel, the first man to host the Spirit of America, sacrifices his life for the revolution on this page from "The Coming of... Uncle Sam". Ink over graphite on vellum affixed to DC Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The finer touch of Anderson's line shines with the old school brush inks he was notable for. It looks like textbook historical illustration.
