That top panel immediately eases you back into Bergara's frame of mind before we focus in on the story at hand.

There's also that lovely feeling of flipping through an entire issue of original comic art, particularly when it is as lovely as this! Congrats Reba!

Love the creature design, landscape, and POV in each panel, but the main thing I took from my first read was the vibe of this character. I started here, rather than from the first series, but I got sucked into this world pretty quick
