Wolverine Netsuke was probably the prettiest Wolverine story there ever was … George Pratt absolutely killed it on this book.. both from a story telling standpoint and artistically. Normally you would not think Pratt and Wolverine would meld well but this was perfect synergy. The paintings are just magnificent and each panel of the book is its own piece of artwork. The fact that I now own this pivotal moment from the book is a dream come true… this is the scene where our hero is so upset , he commits Seppuku … and you can feel the pain and anguish in this close up!

I want to thank my friend and the CEO for letting me hang this one in my dining room! Kasra thank you soooooo much … and can’t wait to talk to George to see if he has the other panels!

What a great find, yes these panels/pages are really beautiful. Congrats and good luck on the continued hunt. Another of these pages are up on an upcoming auction, tempting for sure as I think this book, along with Sam Keith's Hulk/Wolverine work and Williams/Muth's Wolverine/Havok work in Meltdown are all top tier painted pieces.

Whoaaa! Now that's one badass Wolverine painting. Incredibly intense closeup of the mutant berzerker as he commits Seppuku. Honestly, I don't think it gets any more intense than this. You can almost feel Logan's pain as the blade strikes home. Incredibly powerful work by George Platt from one of the darkest books around. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
