So happy to have had the chance to add this cover to my collection. Have loved it since i was in high school. One of my very favorites from that wonderful Nexus comic run.

Pretty hot with the black and white contrasts plus some hot reds and blues. Nexus pointing out toward us seems like such an innovative thing to do from Rude as he's looking towards something we can only discover if we buy the book to read!

Wow! What a fabulous Steve Rude Nexus cover! I don't know why Nexus has largely disappeared in discussions of great '80s comics, but it was tremendously influential on readers and artists alike. This cover is a stunning example of Steve Rude's virtuousity as a comic artist. Beautifully composed and gloriously inked, it really makes an impact. Love the coloring as well. The strong light in the foreground and the backlighting in the background are simply stunning. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!

I know Rude was always considered at best an outsider and at worst a bad boy to the comics power players of the 80s and 90s. There was really never an editor that Rude could get along with or even respect either. But his talent is undeniable. Now in his 60s, I doubt Rude would be interested in producing cover work ala Ross, but I wish he would at least be approached by Marvel or DC.

This is a tremendous piece to own !! Congratulations !!
