Description

Esad is one of the great modern painters in comics and I have wanted something by him for a while now. When I met up with Anthony Snyder at OAX to trade some art, I saw this and fell in love so I had to get it. Elektra has been one of my favorite characters since I learned to read with Frank Miller's Daredevil run, so this is an awesome one that I am so thrilled to own! It's large too, at 16x20 or so.

The line that is still slightly visable across the middle is just from a patched scan. It's so big I had to scan it in halves and put it together. I will try to get a better scan done at some point, but all photos I have taken don't accurately represent the colors of this piece, and the scan is the closest I can get.

The photo probably needs to be taken with daylight to capture the full power of Ribic's colors. Wait for a sunny day, which might happen in a few weeks.

You had such a great OAX haul - I don't know wehre to start with comments but this might be the piece most derserving. Such a wonderful piece. Major congrats! Great to see you at the show Dave!

Absolutley stunnig. One of Esad's best commission paintings. I like how he did the background shapes to frame Elektra. And for scanning have you tried using photoshop photomerge to stitch the 2 pieces together? I know Afinity has that capabilty too and a lot cheaper than Photoshop.
