Swords of the Swashbucklers #6 (1986) page 23: Time for pancakes

After her adventures with the space pirates, Domino Drake appreciates the opportunity to sleep in her own bed. Her new friend Dodge gets a cot nearby. Room decorations remind readers of the South Carolina locale, including "SC State" and "Clemson" wall pennants and a Clemson tiger paw on the rug.

Domino also has a galleon painting on her wall and a galleon model on her shelf, testifying to her family's long association with the sea, since they operate a lighthouse right on the Carolina coast. Wall posters include Garfield the cat and singer "Madogga." An industrial-sized nautical compass sits beside her chest of drawers.

The breakfast scene offers plenty of culinary detail, including the "Log Cabin" brand syrup accompanying the pancakes and a half-used stick of butter. The dialogue calls the food "hot cakes," a Southern term.

Furthermore, the final panel debuts Domino's new costume, which consists of her usual buccaneer boots paired with black tights and a black bathing suit. A reasonable concoction, and an improvement on the previous costume with Mickey Mouse ears.
