8.5x12" artboard w/John Paul Leon and Steve Mitchell's line art transferred to this stat, which was then hand-painted by Milestone colorist Noelle Giddings, utilizing mixed media. This original color art was then used to produce the actual comic book cover. Static #2 was published by DC Comics under their Milestone imprint July 1993. Cover shows Static crouched w/a clenched fist. Title and artist names written on back of artboard. Thin blank portion along the bottom and right side. Light edge and corner wear, but in Exc. condition.
