DescriptionSize: 20 x 17Year: 2010 Invincible was what brought me back into comics after a rather lengthy hiatus and is easily in my top 5 all time favorite superhero comics and it really encapsulates what a comic book should be to me. FUN. SHEER FUN. I can only best describe this as a cross between Spider-man, Superman and Dragonball Z. This book charts the teenage years of the main character until he becomes an adult and it actually ENDS the story which makes it tremendously satisfying. Now, the story does start slow but I have come to realise that this is a Kirkman trope where he lulls readers into thinking "Oh I know where this is going..." So do stick with it and hold on for a heck of a ride! After all this time its also gratifying to see the series get adopted into an Amazon cartoon that does it justice too. I have had the honor of owning many an Invincible piece and I am thrilled that this is the one and done that has made its way to me. There were connecting covers, triple fold covers but this is the only double cover for the series AND its that of the viltrumite war to boot. I love that we have all our favorite pornstache Viltrumites and non-stache ladies like Anissa on the cover in flight, Allen the alien, Tech-Jacket, Space Racer with his Mary Sue pistol and all the dead viltrumites forming a ring around their planet. Ottley made this cover really grand for the anniversary issue! It's got both action and story in this piece full of Invincible mayhem!
